HOMOZYGOUS POLLED/NON-DILUTOR: When we first saw Shamrock, he hit us hard with impressive muscle, dimension, thickness, body and overall power, that is so prominent in the success of the horned Fleckvieh cattle. We were instantly interested and when we went around to his peak polled head and learnt he was Homo Polled, we knew he was special to carry so much quality and not sacrificing muscle and power. It is difficult to find a bull with his dark color and strong pigment along with foot quality, soundness, scrotal, attractive head, hair, maternal strength and overall complete body type. This then led us to his dam who is strong footed, good udder and the right type you want a pasture full of, and we were officially all about trying to find a way to buy this bull. To our dismay, Ferme Erisa had already sold the walking rights on Shamrock at an early age and retained the semen rights but after much persuasion and having to ante up, we were able to buy this exciting bull for our directory and offer him to the industry.
